概要

I am a global executive and venture investor with more than 30 years of experience spanning finance, corporate governance, and innovation strategy.

I joined Sony Group in 2004 from the finance industry, beginning in the U.S. as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Treasury at Sony Electronics, where I managed strategic relationships with early digital-content partners including YouTube, Google, Amazon, and Netflix. That experience led to my global business development and M&A leadership roles at Sony’s Tokyo headquarters.

Over two decades at Sony, I held multiple concurrent leadership positions across the Group — including Head of Global Corporate Development (M&A), Head of Global Investor Relations, Chief Financial Officer and later Chief Strategy Officer of Sony Mobile Communications Inc., and Founder and Chairman of Sony Ventures, which grew to a global platform exceeding US $500 million AUM with teams across the U.S., Europe, Israel, India, and Japan.

Currently I serve as a Non-Executive Director of Nasdaq-listed Global-E and as Senior Advisor to Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support, bringing an investor’s perspective and governance discipline to organizations at the intersection of technology, commerce, and capital markets.

Earlier in my career, I spent nearly two decades in investment banking and capital markets, holding FINRA Series 8 and 24 supervisory licenses, which strengthened my grounding in regulatory compliance, disclosure, and market integrity.

Across these roles I have served on investment committees, subsidiary boards, and joint ventures, combining fiduciary discipline with cross-cultural judgment and strategic insight to bridge innovation, capital, and governance across global markets.

I continue to explore board, advisory, and select executive opportunities where governance discipline, innovation, and strategic finance intersect to drive sustainable growth.
