A BIG Thanks to the IMC

Well the IMC is done and over with.  We here at the Garage want to shout out a big THANK YOU to the IMC organizers, all of the players, and the Gamers Asylum for running such a top notch event.

I personally had a lot of fun during this whole event.  Really can't say enough about how well everything was run.  I have been to a few tournaments in my day, and I have to say that for a tourney that touted 46 players this thing ran without a hitch!

We here at the Garage were glad to see our paint work was appreciated and were happy to see the smiles on the winners faces as they accepted their prizes.

Going forward we are very excited to continue our relationship with the IMC and are happy to continue to provide only the COOLEST of paint jobs as prize support for such an awesome event.

Mauler with Chicken Pox

I know I have posted this guy once before. I finally got off of my lazy butt and finished the base. You know how it is... well maybe you don't because you may not be a slacker like me. Anyway this is for my son's army. I really wanted to be different with his army. I lucked out and this turned out okay. I have fallen in love with the color of the spikes and the fingernails. I know the teeth don't match and someone was really excited to point that out to me (you know who you are). Anyway question and comment are welcome.

I have another Mauler in the wings. The overall theme will be the same but I have to come up with something different. Hmmmmm...

Thursday WIPs!!

So this beast has been sitting on my paint desk for the last week or two.  He has been begging to be finished... (You may have seen him cameo in a few other shots on the blog)

Thanks to my happy Thursday's I have been able to add the finishing touches and move him from painting table to completed shelf.  Hooray!!

Grims Trolls... CHAMPS!!

Well, this last Friday we had a little summer rampage event.  I brought my small force of Trolls and this bad boy unit of Champs doled out some major pain.  I was so impressed with what they were able to do I had to jump up and get the finished up real quick like!

I have heard some people say that they think these figures are UGLY... well I hope that my paint jobs may have helped to changed that mindset a bit... if not... well... I think these sculpts are pretty darn sweet my self.  :)
