Last week in Karlskoga, we had the honor of hosting Sweden's Chief of Defence and Latvia's Commander-in-Chief, where we discussed ongoing developments and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation in the Baltic Sea region.

Have you ever wondered why GlobalEye has a ‘ski-box’ on top? It’s called Erieye ER, and it’s a big part of what makes GlobalEye work. Inside sits the 10-metre Erieye Extended Range radar antenna, which is the main sensor. It’s built to keep track of what’s happening across air, sea and land — over long distances.

By testing AI-driven autonomy, we are exploring new ways for underwater vehicles to sense, reason and act independently, turning advanced innovation into real-world capability.

Virtual simulation is a key to cost-efficient, repetitive and highly realistic soldier training. All with one aim: Creating confident soldiers Our market leading Ground Combat Indoor Trainer, available in Studio as well as Gunnery version, allows realistic training from individual soldier to collective training of up to ten soldiers simultaneously. Weapons supported include Carl-Gustaf M4, AT4 and NLAW in addition to small arms.

C-UAS solution gives Sweden a decisive advantage in air defence 🇸🇪 Saab has received an order from the FMV - Försvarets materielverk for a mobile and modular Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS). The system is designed to protect the Swedish Armed Forces as well as civil infrastructure from threats posed by drones. The order value is approximately 2.6 billion SEK.

Saab is further strengthening our world-leading products by collaborating with Swedish companies to enhance Sweden’s resilience in the naval defence sector. Saab is therefore entering into a strategic cooperation agreement with Nöjdhs Elektronik to explore opportunities, share expertise and deliver on our commitments. Nöjdhs Elektronik specialises in rugged design for use in demanding platforms, has established special competence in the underwater sector and provides solutions for the harshest conditions and environments. Saab contributes with a broad spectrum from research to maintenance of naval and autonomous systems, including ongoing production of the A26 submarines. #SuperiorAtSea #keepingpeopleandsocietysafe

Saab is continuing to deliver training solutions and support in a multinational and multi-system environment. The recently performed exercise Cold Response 2026 in Norway and Finland with troops from multiple allied NATO nations is another example of how we enable realism and interoperability across systems and forces.
