Our second Lagos cohort kicked off in October and the drive is clear 🚀 Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what the last few weeks have looked like. These founders are deep in the build- iterating, testing, and tackling Africa’s toughest challenges across renewable energy, legal tech, HR tech, agritech, creative, early education, tax compliance, home ownership, and AI. The finish line is December 12, and we can’t wait to see what they deliver. 👊

Japan is opening new doors, and large enterprises are looking for faster, more connected ways to engage the global venture ecosystem. 🇯🇵 Deep tech, AI, Web3, IP, and sustainability are all accelerating, but the missing link has been a system that helps startups work with large Japanese corporates at the speed founders need. Ibex (backed by Antler), is changing that with Polynodal Innovation, a new model that connects startups with enterprise partners, capital, academia, and government in a way that actually scales. On Nov 27–28, Ibex is officially launching in Tokyo and Osaka, alongside leaders from deep tech, Anime/IP, sustainability, government, and some of Japan’s largest corporations. If you’re a Japanese startup looking to meet corporations moving into the venture ecosystem, now is the time to plug in. Our latest residency in London has been moving fast. The ambition across this cohort has been unmistakable, and the progress shows it. 🚀 We’ve already backed two teams. Pre-ICs start this week for the wider cohort. And at this pace, we expect to commit £5m+ before Christmas. In the last few weeks, founders have pivoted with clarity, newly formed teams have shipped product, and some are already bringing in revenue. The bar has been raised by the operators around them too; people like Nick Lally (co-founder of Ravelin), Sophie Guibaud (co-founder of Fiat Republic), Toby Mather (founder of Lingumi, now CPO at Novakid), and V Bhatla (former Chief of Staff at Monzo), alongside experts and operators from companies like JustEat, Hazy, Seneca and more. This is what determined founders can do when they’re surrounded by the right people, the right pressure, and the right support. And they’re only getting started. 👊

In this episode of the Further Faster podcast, Antler Partner Hannah Leach sits down with UK founder Guiam Wainwright, founder of Occam. Guiam discusses his unconventional journey from telcos, logistics, and robotics to counter-terrorism - all leading to him building Occam, an autonomous platform bringing resilient, low-cost AI to any robotic system. He shares how the Ukraine conflict became the catalyst for launching a defence company focused on creating “on-the-edge” autonomy that can operate in extreme electronic warfare environments. Building Robot Brains Through Play

Big news 🚀 Synthium has just been backed by Antler through their new AI Disrupt program. For my cofounder Nicolas Savva and me, this is a major milestone. Antler is backing founders shaping the next decade of AI, and we are proud to be among the first companies selected. This milestone unlocks a global network of engineers, investors, and portfolio founders who share our ambition to accelerate the rise of intelligent robotics. It also supports our expansion into the US and Japan. These past weeks have been unforgettable. The late night work, the candid feedback, and the sense of being surrounded by founders who are here to create not just a company but moments that will never be forgotten. Huge thanks to the Antler team for the trust and the energy, especially Lorenzo Peracchione, Winnie Khoo, Erik Jonsson, Gordon Tay, Khanh Vương, Ha Phan, the partners, and everyone who supported us 🙏 More to come soon 🚀

This one means a lot. What began as a belief that mobility doesn’t need more vehicles, it needs a better operating system - just got reinforced with Citroën India partnering to deploy EVs through Milo Drive’s Fleet OS. Our platform now blends demand routing, performance intelligence, and real-time EV insights across 6 demand channels. Every new car isn’t a cost on our books; it’s a new node on a network that learns, optimises, and scales itself. India is rewriting how mobility infra is built and we’re grateful to be writing a meaningful part of that architecture.
