#VIS Recognised with Six Major #Sustainability Awards   At the 2025 Global Corporate Sustainability Forum and Joint Award Ceremony hosted by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy, the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (#TCSA) and Global Corporate Sustainability Awards (#GCSA) honoured outstanding corporate sustainability achievements. #VIS 2025 Learning-Application Link Kicks Off 🚀 Our first on-campus session at #HsinchuVocationalHighSchool brought us together with more than 200 students. We were honored to welcome Ting-Huan Chi, Director of the Chi Po-Lin Foundation🌏, and Jenny Hsiung, Technical Manager of Risk Management and Environmental Sustainability at VIS🌳, who shared their personal journeys and encouraged students to explore their interests, embrace possibilities, and value every step of growth. They also spoke about learning through low points, finding passion through study and work, and continuing to build resilience even in challenging times. The session sparked thoughtful conversations and marked an inspiring start to the Learning-Application Link program. Since 2023, VIS and IC Broadcast have jointly promoted the Learning-Application Link initiative. Recognising Excellence: VIS Awarded the TCIA Golden Tower 🏆 #VIS received its first Golden Tower Award at the 2025 #TCIA Taiwan Continuous Improvement Competition, standing out among 137 companies and 253 improvement cases. This achievement surpasses last year’s Silver Tower Award and demonstrates VIS’ ongoing progress in quality enhancement. Guided by the Industrial Development Administration and organised by CSD, the TCIA Competition acts as a key platform for promoting Continuous Improvement across QCC, SGA, Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D. VIS competed in the Internal Quality Improvement category with a project focused on reducing leakage in automotive BCD chips. Under Manager Han-Wei’s guidance, presenters Ann and Ava were recognised for their clear logic and steady delivery. #VIS was honoured by Womany at the 2025 Diversity for a Better Tomorrow Awards, receiving both the Best Sustainable DEI Practice Award and the Annual Best Women’s Empowerment Enterprise Award.   In the semiconductor industry, women engineers often face the challenge of balancing work and family. Partnering in Education, Creating New Pathways: VIS Joins the "Hsinchu Studies’ Program"🤝   Every career begins with a spark of inspiration. The "Hsinchu Studies’ Program", launched today by National Tsing Hua University in collaboration with ten local high schools, gives students the chance to learn by doing. Through six themes: Urbanization, Hsinchu Science Park, River Systems, Hakka Culture, Indigenous Communities, and Immigration, students explore the ties between local culture, community, and industry.   By learning through doing, students discover how culture, industry, and innovation connect in the place they call home.✨   At the launch ceremony, VIS Deputy Director Iverson Chou emphasized VIS support for the “Hsinchu Science Park” theme and highlighted opportunities such as internships, career talks, and company visits.
