Our Lead Cryptography Researcher Shuichi Katsumata has been invited as a keynote speaker at Indocrypt 2025 on the 14-17 December in India (virtual). He will be speaking on - "Taking Post-Quantum Cryptography from Theory to Practice: A Case Study with Signal". In this blog post, we explain how we helped Signal Messenger develop SPQR and the role it plays in the new Triple Ratchet protocol: https://lnkd.in/efd5e43j For more information and the full agenda, visit the website. https://hubs.li/Q03Wf69V0 #cryptography #postquantum #quantumsafe #cybersecurity #cryptoagility

An interim report from Japan’s National Cyber Command Office (NCO) has concluded that its government agencies must transition to post-quantum cryptography by 2035. As 2025 draws to a close, it's a fascinating step in alignment with the likes of the UK, US, Canada and EU, towards a roadmap for PQC transition within the decade. The report highlights the importance of prioritization and collaboration. See how eShard and PQShield put an ML-KEM hardware implementation through a real side-channel evaluation ➡ https://lnkd.in/eUJW8B7F Together, we walked through the full journey: breaking the unprotected version, probing the protected one and confirming how its countermeasures hold up in practice. Read our blog post for the step-by-step. #hardware #pqc #postquantum #nist

ATTENTION Hardware Architects & Security Engineers: If your PQC is only mathematically secure, it's already vulnerable. 💡 True quantum resilience for embedded and semiconductor devices requires defeating Side-Channel Attacks (SCA) at the silicon level. We partnered with eShard to put our protected ML-KEM (FIPS-203) Hardware IP to the ultimate test. Their rigorous 'Reverse Method' evaluation confirmed the effectiveness of our SCA countermeasures, finding zero leakage in our first-order analysis—even when testing with 1000x the traces needed to break the unprotected version. Implementation matters. Stop relying on unproven PQC and see the proof. “The cryptographic algorithms we rely on today are not going to be secure in ten years.” At Web Summit last week, our CSO Ben Packman underscored an urgent message for the entire technology supply chain. As we approach the post-quantum era, resilient, future-ready security isn’t optional – it’s the baseline for every digital product and service. #postquantum #cryptography #PQC
