I've managed to get it to work with Opera in Windows 7 Ultimate, without any tweaks (I believe there is still sound there, although so weak it's almost inaudible). When using XP I had to go through hoops to get it to work with Opera. It was annoying, but once completed it worked great and was definitely worth the effort.

This tool is especially good for anyone surfing Traffic Exchange sites and clicking Safelist credit mails.. or have you ever heard 30 web pages with video playing simultaneously? It's like Jean Michel Jarre on crack (on the other hand: why would that be a bad thing?).

I use FireFox too, but Opera is my #1 web browser. I am just forever annoyed by their mostly useless widgets; whereas FF has a lot of great add-ons, Opera has.. Aquarium and 3D Tetris!

I know this blog post is dated far back, but wanted to confirm that Flash Mute still works, in most cases. Sometimes you'll have to tweak your browser to get it to work, though.
