Excellent book! I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to start and build a success business. JLD has fantastic tactical strategies that anyone can follow. One of my biggest takeaways is to put in the reps. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

I had to push past the opening chapters, which were very similar to other business books I've read. But once it catches its stride, this book has more than enough great insights to justify reading it. Recommended! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

Atomic habits for the entrepreneur! This is my first experience with anything from John Lee Dumas , and I’m impressed! He lays out actionable steps to follow no matter where you are in your entrepreneurial journey. Now I’ll have to buy the physical copy of the book so that I can revisit all the great material! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

As some other reviewers noted, JLD is using this medium to sell stuff…. Duh. It’s a long form podcast and I thought it was great. Although the impact sounds during the Well of Knowledge and the “You Got This” are a little hokey, you have to respect the guy for what he’s done.
Is JLD “extra”…. You bet. Is he engaging, articulate and passionate about what he’s doing. 100%. I was in the car all day and got through the entire book in a day, which is a hell of a lot more than I can say for a lot of other biz book narrators.
Thanks to Dumas for his service to us entrepreneurs and to our country. Any man that gets shot at and then comes home and kills it flexes his capitalist muscle is aces in my book. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

There are some EXTREMELY good advice, well written and straightforward. Kudos to the author. The sad part is that, 50% of this audiobook is about his products, an advertisment, and straight annoying. If you cannot pass listening to a comerciala for 1.5 hours, you can skip this audiobook. Nothing comes for free, and this author is a a straight capitalist, pouring his ads through your ears without shame. I like what he is doing, but down the line, I feel a little disappointed and disgusted with his approach. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

I really liked some of the chapters of the book but not all of them. I think this is a 7/10, mainly because the book didn’t fully met my expectations. I was expecting some kind of heavier analysis, focusing on finding ALL the connections between what led to success for all entrepreneurs he has interviewed, rather than his own path to “uncommon success”.
Running scientific correlation experiments for all entrepreneurs would’ve been great.
Anyways, very interesting book, good takeaways. Well done.
