About this audiobook
Our thought lives have incredible power over our mental, emotional, and even physical well-being. In fact, our thoughts can either limit us to what we believe we can do or release us to experience abilities well beyond our expectations. When we choose a mindset that extends our abilities rather than placing limits on ourselves, we will experience greater intellectual satisfaction, emotional control, and physical health. The only question is . . . how?
Backed by up-to-date scientific research and biblical insight, Dr. Caroline Leaf empowers readers to take control of their thoughts in order to take control of their lives. In this practical book, readers will learn to use
- The 5-step Switch on Your Brain Learning Program, to build memory and learn effectively
- The Gift Profile, to discover the unique way they process information
- The Mindfulness Guide, to optimize their thought life and find their inner resilience
Each of us has significant psychological resources at our fingertips that we can use in order to improve our overall well-being. Dr. Leaf shows us how to harness those resources to unlock our hidden potential.

“Your brain is finely attuned to your mind; it is designed to respond to your conscious thinking.” Excerpt
I’m fascinated by the human mind—how it is designed and how we are wired. Our mindset is powerful. If you doubt this, then think about the last time you sat with a negative or angry person. They probably brought you down. Or the last time you entered a room of positive and happy people. You probably left in a better frame of mind than you entered.
It’s intriguing to look at the concept of using our mindsets to rewire our lives, bringing positivity and success our way. It may sound bizarre, but I fully believe in the influence of mindful thinking.
I have to admit; I didn’t understand some of this book. The wordage was a bit much and I didn’t have a deep enough interest in researching terms or meanings. But some of the book really resonated with me, such as the importance of the words we use, the emotions we embrace, and the way we react to daily stressors.
I wish more illustrations were included. The few that were included provided great visualizations. I also wish more whitespace was implemented. There is so much information; so a few pauses to allow everything to sink in would have been helpful and appreciated.
Think Learn Succeed is a great resource to teach us how to influence our brain and body to work better for us.
This is a sometimes confusing, sometimes fascinating read.
I was blessed to receive a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher.
