Born into one of Manila’s oldest families, she studied at the University of California. There she met and married a young law student, Antonio Molina Bautista. Upon their return to the Philippines, Adalia joined the staff of General Romulo’s Manila Tribune and became the first woman reporter in the Islands. She then worked for the American Counter-Intelligence Corps, helping to bring to bring to justice the many traitors of their own country.view less
