She has worked in different capacities for twenty-five years with the United Nations World Food Programme. She was the head of the programme division and senior advisor for programmes. She is the recipient of the prestigious International Women’s Day Award conferred by the United Nations for her work in the field of women’s entrepreneurship. She was a global trainer on United Nations Reforms and a global trainer on gender mainstreaming.
