Introduction

A Kingdom

A form of government headed by a king or queen.

Let me be the first to break the news:  you are the King or Queen. Yes, you are the ruler and sovereign authority in your own personal kingdom. Everything that happens whether good or bad, favorable or unfavorable, will fall under your reign. You may ask of what kingdom? The answer is no secret. It is your life. I have heard the term Kingdom broken down to King’s - Dominion. Well, in this context that perspective is appropriate regarding your life, because it is your  kingdom, the place of your personal dominion. I hope this is not new information to you, however if it is, you will have to learn the enormous responsibilities of your new job quickly. With this in mind, we will focus on one aspect in this book which is the authority that you possess when you speak. Based on a number of factors such as prior knowledge, established beliefs, current internal or external conditions… some may find it challenging to even consider the immense authority they have when they speak. This is why information is critical because the knowledge of this authority in the hands of those brave enough to exercise it, will unquestionably prove to be life changing. Consider these three steps:

#1 Acknowledging your sovereign authority.

#2 Accepting full responsibility for using this authority to take control of your life.

#3 Acting with intentional speech as the highest ranking member of a royal class.

Once again, information remains the critical variable. Which is, that you have authority when you speak! This authority is irrespective of any internal whispers of doubt or insecurity. The condition of powerlessness ends today as you assume your rightful position of authority because your life awaits your royal decree.

When a sovereign speaks, people listen and things happen.

Now just imagine that every time you open your mouth and release words, they are received as decrees or commands. When you speak, every word can be taken as a command. For example, consider casually saying, I am thirsty and within seconds, you are brought a nice cold drink from one who takes pleasure in serving the sovereign. Such an immediate response to what seemed to be meaningless words would be surprising. However, one who knows the power of their words, would speak with expectation and accept nothing less than the fulfillment of their request. Your life, as previously stated, is your kingdom and you are responsible for its maintenance, enjoyment, and all purposeful activities. When you speak, you are an authority and, yes, things happen. Therefore, it is important to remember that the words you release from your mouth will be critical to your life. I know you may be thinking that had I known this all along, I would have governed my life a lot differently, specifically as it pertains to what I have released from my mouth. Well, congratulations on your new discovery of the power and authority you have always had. In this sense, I guess it is appropriate to say that knowledge is power. And you have an enormous power to exercise, by the words that you speak. All Hail the king/queen!
