Human Relations Protocol - Susan Louise Peterson
INTRODUCTION
The thing I love most about the human relations world is that it takes a very multidisciplinary approach to life. When I think of human relations in the work environment I see the importance of communication exchange, social interaction and a variety of psychological issues related to feelings, attitudes, choices and responses to each other. The area of choice is so important in the work environment because these choices all have consequences that impact the day to day operations and the human relationships the employees are building with one another and with customers. If more emphasis in the work world focused on human relations aspects, professionals would feel more valued and perhaps more willing to seek professional growth and gain fulfillment in their careers. I wrote Human Relations Protocol to emphasize why human relations messages are important and how these principles can make the professional work environment a more positive and enriching place.
