We welcome you in your " Guide Education " collection - a series of practical guides that we hope will help you to easily and inexpensively implement our experience in the adaptation of team building techniques for the smooth running of your class and to meet the needs of learners in transversal education through project and collaboration. This issue aims to teach you how to create a website easily, step by step, on one of the free blogging platforms: Wordpress.com or Wix.com .
Why a website?
Today, a website is essential for visibility, to ensure communication, but can be easily used as a tool in the teaching process to convey knowledge, but also to motivate students.
Whether in mathematics, science or reading, students are no longer able to achieve the same results, especially by comparing them to those of Japan or South Korea, for example. This purely quantitative aspect aside, there is a real suffering within the teaching profession and, of course, within the learners. Teaching methods often do not follow technological advances.
It is necessary to implement new teaching techniques, a collaborative and motivating pedagogy.
You may ask yourself: but why would you need a website? You may already have the answer, since that is why you bought this ebook, but otherwise here are some examples of a website use in the world of education and training:
A blog for a school trip
A website for posting small tutorial videos or educational capsules
with questionnaires for learners and statistics, analysis of the results, etc.
