What is interior design?
Interior design is the art and science of creating, building attractive functional living and work spaces. It involves the understanding of needs of the inhabitants about various allocated spaces within a house or a commercial property.
Interior design is a complex field that requires knowledge of aesthetics, colors, materials and a good sense of style. It involves being able to come up with creative solutions to a variety of design problems, from selecting the right materials, space planning to organizing the furniture in the room.
Good interior design should be both practical and beautiful, which means a combination of aesthetics and functionality. It should take into account the function of the space, such as how many people will be using it and for what activities.
It should also consider the aesthetic values of design, from the color palette to the choice of furniture and lighting.
A good interior designer will also be able to provide guidance on how to best use the space to make it look and feel its best.
