On the other hand, non-verbal communication includes body language, facial expressions, gestures and other non-verbal signals that accompany verbal communication. These non-verbal signals significantly influence the interpretation and understanding of a message.

    Active listening is another crucial aspect of effective communication. It involves fully engaging with the speaker, focusing on their words and showing understanding. Techniques such as paraphrasing, summarizing and mirroring back help to ensure that the message is received correctly and that the speaker feels heard and valued.

    Mirroring back and paraphrasing are two important techniques in communication that serve to improve understanding and avoid misunderstandings. When mirroring back, the interlocutor repeats the speaker's statements in their own words to show that they are actively listening and understanding.

    Paraphrasing goes one step further by restating the content of the message in your own words, which not only checks for understanding but also ensures that the message has been clearly and precisely understood.
