When I joined my engineering college, I was filled with excitement about this new journey. Coming from a PCMC background in PU, everything felt both new and thrilling. I still remember the first day I stepped onto campus — the college infrastructure was truly impressive, and the beautiful campus left me in awe. Seeing so many students joining alongside me gave me a motivational boost, and to top it all, I made new friends right on the very first day. It was an amazing start to my college life!

My college has excellent infrastructure, and the weather here is always cool, which adds to the campus’s natural beauty every time I look around. Students from different states study here, and initially, there was a language barrier — they didn’t know our language, and we weren’t familiar with theirs. However, English became our common ground, making it easy for us to communicate and connect with each other.

We began our engineering journey, and at first, I was an average student who didn’t take my studies seriously, focusing more on enjoyment. The first year went by like this, but when I entered the second year, I realized I was wasting my time. That’s when I started taking courses on Udemy, which helped me gain basic knowledge of programming languages like Python and Java. I was confused about which course to focus on and which certifications to pursue, so I asked my brother for advice. He encouraged me to choose any language I liked.Later, during my second year, I participated in a hackathon for the first time. Despite having little experience building projects, my friends and I managed to complete one with the help of resources like GitHub and YouTube. This experience taught me a lot about hackathons and project development.

By my third year, I became much more serious about my studies and started taking free Python courses on GeeksforGeeks. This platform helped me build a strong foundation and boosted my discipline and work habits. Now, I can build projects independently, and I’m really happy to share this journey. I have maintained an SGPA above 7 in all semesters. Currently, I am working on data structures and algorithms with Python and preparing for placements through GeeksforGeeks as I recently completed my third year.
