The journey began with the gruelling preparation for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Countless hours were spent poring over books, solving practice papers, and attending coaching classes. The pressure was immense, but the dream of securing a coveted seat in a prestigious engineering college kept me motivated.
Finally, the day of the JEE arrived, and I gave it my all. The wait for the results seemed interminable, but when they were eventually declared, my hard work had paid off. I had scored well enough to qualify for the UPTAC counselling process. The counselling rounds were a rollercoaster of emotions. With each round, my anxiety grew as I witnessed the seats filling up rapidly. However, my determination never wavered, and I remained hopeful that I would secure a seat in a reputable college.
The results are announced in different rounds. A total of 4 rounds occur after that there is an internal sliding round and then if some seats are still left, there is an additional round as well for filling up the remaining seats. So I filled IET Lucknow as the top choice as it was the top-ranked college of AKTU. After the first two rounds, I wasn't allowed any branch in IET, but my hard work paid off when I was finally allowed IET Lucknow with my favourite branch Mechanical Engineering.
After what felt like an eternity, the moment of truth arrived. IET Lucknow, one of the most prestigious engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh, granted me admission. The elation I felt was indescribable – a dream that had once seemed distant was now a reality. With a heart filled with excitement and a mind brimming with anticipation, I embarked on the next phase of the journey: physical reporting at IET Lucknow.
The campus was nothing short of breathtaking, with state-of-the-art facilities and an atmosphere that fostered learning and growth. As I completed the formalities and secured my hostel accommodation, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. The countless sacrifices, the late nights, and the unwavering determination had all been worth it.
Now, as I stand on the cusp of a new chapter in my life, I can't help but feel a mixture of excitement and trepidation. The challenges that lie ahead are daunting, but I am ready to embrace them with open arms. IET Lucknow has not only provided me with an opportunity to pursue my academic dreams but has also opened up a world of possibilities – a chance to forge lifelong friendships, explore new horizons, and ultimately, shape my future.
This journey has been a testament to the power of perseverance and hard work. As I embark on this new adventure, I carry with me the lessons learned and the determination to make the most of this incredible opportunity. The road ahead may be long and winding, but with the guidance of my mentors and the support of my peers, I am confident that I will emerge victorious, ready to take on the world with the knowledge and skills acquired at this esteemed institution.
