Multiply 4.5 by 100 and attach % symbol to it.

4.5 × 100 = 450% .

Solution:  

Given, 70/100 which is equivalent to decimal number 0.7

Multiply 0.7 by 100 and attach % symbol to it.

0.7 × 100 = 70 %

Question 3: Convert the fraction 2/5 into a percentage.

Solution: 

Firstly, convert 2/5 into decimal number. which is equivalent to 0.4

Now multiply 0.4 by 100 and attach % symbol to it.

0.4 × 100 = 40%

Question 4: What is 20% of 50?

Solution:

20% is equivalent to 20/100 i.e; 1/5

Multiply 1/5 with 50 

1/5 × 50 = 10.

Solution:

Given decimal number 1.43 

Multiply 1.43 by 100 and attach % symbol to it.

1.43 × 100 = 143%

Solution:

Given decimal number is 9.8

Multiply 9.8 by 100 and attach % symbol to it.

9.8 × 100 = 980%

Solution:
