The Ds\Map::get() function is an inbuilt function in PHP which is used to return the value of the given key. Syntax: 
mixed public Ds\Map::get( mixed $key[, mixed $default] )
Parameter: This function accepts two parameters as mentioned above and described below:
  • $key: It holds the key which value to be returned.
  • $default: It is optional parameter and returns if key not found.
Return value: This function returns the value mapped with given key or returns default value if key not found. Below programs illustrate the Ds\Map::get() function in PHP: Program 1: php

// PHP program to illustrate the get()

// Creating a Map 
$map = new \Ds\Map([
        1 => 10, 
        2 => 20,
        3 => 30, 
        4 => 40,
        5 => 50]); 

// Use Ds\Map::get() function
var_dump($map->get(1));
var_dump($map->get(3));
var_dump($map->get(5));
var_dump($map->get(7, 100));
