S&P Global Interview Experience (On-Campus) Last Updated : 20 Oct, 2024 Comments Improve Suggest changes Like Article Like Report Hello everyone, this is my personal experience of my interview/selection process for the company S & P Global when it visited our campus in January 2024. The company was one of the earlier companies visiting the campus this year. The main role of an associate software engineer was offered while the package was not disclosed. The interview duration varied from person to person but was approximately 45 min each. Round 1:The first round was conducted by the college to restrict the number of students attending the interviews. The whole process included 5 coding questions and 20 fairly easy MCQs. All the coding questions were from DSA topics like trees and linked lists etc. One of the coding questions included a palindromic linked list without extra space questions.Round 2:After the first round around 80 students qualified for the second round. This was the last round conducted by the company and the focus of this interview was a wide range of topics. This round not only included the technical interview round but the students were also judged on their behaviour and communication skills. Communication skills were the prime focus of most panel interviews. The initial questions were about the candidate's introduction, then they moved on to discussing the resume with the candidates, this was around 5 min. Once the resume discussion was done they started asking DSA questions, this continued for almost 10-15 minutes the questions were simple and were very basic concepts related to stacks and arrays. Then a discussion about the candidates' projects started, and the involvement and contribution of the candidates were questioned. Questions about the technologies used in the personal projects were further asked. This was the conclusion of the panel round.Verdict: Not SelectedThough I was not selected I received feedback from the HR and the T and P cell of the college about the areas I needed to improve. Overall the level of the S and P global recruitment process was easy and found to be cracked with a little practice.
