IBPS RRB Notification 2023 Out

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) has recently released the IBPS RRB Notification and increased the vacancies to 9075 from 8060 to fill the vacancies of a total of 43 Participating Regional Rural Banks. Candidates can now apply for the IBPS RRB PO and Clerk vacancies till 28 June 2023.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria

Those aspiring to take the IBPS RRB exam this year must be aware of the eligibility requirements stated in the official notification. To be eligible for the IBPS RRB 2023 Exam, a candidate must meet the following qualifying requirements:

 Nationality

The candidate appearing for the IBPS RRB exam should fall into one of the following categories:

• Citizen of India
• The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
• Tibetan refugees settled in India
• Migrated individuals from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, The United Republic of Tanzania, Ethiopia, Zaire, Zambia, Malawi, and Vietnam with the intention of settling in India.

Age Limit

The age criteria for different roles under the IBPS RRB exam are as follows:

• Scale I Officer: 18 years to 30 years
• Scale II Officer: 21 years to 32 years
• Scale III Officer: 21 years to 40 years
• Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18 years to 28 years

Before initiating the online registration for the IBPS RRB 2020 exam, ensure you have the following documents ready:

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

The IBPS RRB conducts recruitment for two different posts: Office Assistant/Clerk and Officer Scale. As a result, the examination process varies for each of these positions.

There will be no interview process for selecting candidates for the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be based solely on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Mains Examination. The test will be objective in nature, and for every incorrect response marked by the candidate, there will be a penalty of 0.25 marks.

IBPS RRB 2023 Registration Process

The registration process for the IBPS RRB exam involves five main steps, as provided below:

Registration and Enrolment

• Visit www.ibps.in, the official IBPS website.
• Click on ‘Apply Online for CRP RRBs – VIII’ link.
• Select ‘Click here for New Registration’ option.
• Choose the desired position and provide necessary information.
• Review details and click ‘Save and Next’ to complete registration.

Uploading Documents

• Upload required documents as specified on the portal.
• Submit scanned copies of relevant papers in appropriate fields.

Filling the Application Form

• Enter personal details: name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address.
• Upload photo, signature, and select preferred exam centres.
• Enter the security code and fill out the application form.
• Click ‘Submit’ to proceed.

Payment of Application Fee

• Choose one of the six payment methods available.
• After submitting the form, proceed to the payment gateway.

Confirmation of Registration

• When the payment is completed, you’ll then receive an e-receipt from IBPS.
• You must save a copy of the completed form for all future references.
