His mom calls while he's in there & he tells her the future is scary because it just seems so big, & I think he knows what happened 2 yrs. even 5 yrs. out because he lived to see it. He still has his found-family at the restaurant, & at the end feels "an insane beam of love for the world lancing through him," & the hogs inside him (his demons) being butchered far far away...so if not closure, a little less empty? (less)
