On Tuesday, we joined the Pitch & Progress event hosted by TUM Venture Labs Built Environment, bringing together aspiring founders and early-stage ventures to pitch their ideas and exchange insights on building and scaling in the construction ecosystem. Daniel Hinz shared how we as The Bau Ventures collaborate with startups driving digital transformation across the sector, combining capital, hands-on support, and deep industry expertise to help founders grow from idea to scale. It was inspiring to see such a diversity of approaches — from prefabrication checks for modularity (MOD) and innovative facade systems to open-source 3D BIM & AEC web applications (xeokit SDK). Innovating Together: An Inspiring Night at the Innovators Dinner ✨ We were thrilled to co-host this year’s Innovators Dinner alongside PT1 and ZIA Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss e.V., a true highlight on the first evening of EXPO REAL. Bringing together over 100 startup founders, investors and industry leaders, the evening offered the perfect mix of inspiring conversations, meaningful connections, and forward-looking ideas for the future of real estate. Over a delicious dinner and great drinks, we had the chance to discuss pressing challenges and opportunities shaping our industry’s transformation. A huge thank you to our co-hosts and everyone who joined us to make this evening so special!

What a night! 🚀 We’re still energized by our first Bau Ventures event – the Urban Aperitivo at Bits & Pretzels 2025: an evening full of engaging conversations, new connections, and valuable exchange between startups, investors, and corporates shaping the future of the built world.
