Thanks, MassChallenge for such an insightful visit to the Pentagon! It is always great to connect with the ecosystem and strengthen relationships with our peers in Washington.
Last week and for the first time, some of the MassChallenge Security & Resiliency community spent two days in DC, strengthening connections across the national security ecosystem. 📍 Monday: We toured the Pentagon, an incredible opportunity to visit the headquarters of the Department of Defense which happens to be one of the world’s largest office buildings. Our innovators were part of a group that represents just a fraction of the ~100,000 visitors permitted each year for this tour. 📍 Tuesday: We hosted a MassChallenge Dual-Use Innovation Collider, bringing together 100 attendees from government, industry, and the startup community. Event highlights: ⚡ Remarks from Liza Craig, representing our outstanding hosts at Goodwin and Aaron Ramirez from J.P. Morgan ⚡Alumni pitches from Airgility and KMB Telematics Inc. ⚡Networking with the U.S. Early Stage Security & Resiliency cohort, featuring 30+ startups who are pushing the edge of what is possible for government and industry, advancing critical infrastructure, defense technology, and resilient systems. Two days full of energy, insights, and meaningful connections. Grateful to everyone who joined us and excited for what’s ahead for dual-use innovation at MassChallenge! 🚀 #DualUseInnovation #NationalSecurity #DefenseInnovation #StartupEcosystem #WashingtonDC
