When we started Launch Factory in 2019, the idea was simple:
👉 build startups from scratch — the right way.
Five years later, that idea has evolved into something much bigger.
What began as a venture studio is now a full platform for building, funding, and scaling early-stage companies.
Here’s what that looks like today 👇
1️⃣ Builder in Residence
Our way of working with early founders — from pre-revenue up to ~$500K in traction. It’s a flexible, hands-on program where founders learn by doing, surrounded by investors and exited entrepreneurs who’ve walked the path before.
We rely on Lean Startup and Design Thinking principles I first learned at Stanford GSB — applied to the real chaos of startup life.
Qualcomm Ventures, Josh Komenda, Andy Ballester, Andy White have all met and talked with our Builders.
2️⃣ Seed Investments
We wrote 10 checks this year, backing companies with $500K–$2M in revenue. We've co-invested with Draper Associates, Andreessen Horowitz
Focus areas: workforce productivity, B2B software, health tech, enterprise intelligence, and dual-use tech — places where we see founders turning deep expertise into scalable businesses.
3️⃣ Corporate Venture Building
We have partnered with selected public companies that see new technology as a lever for growth, not a slide in a board deck.
We plug in our venture playbook, bring a founder mindset, and build without bureaucracy, committees, or “innovation theater.”
The goal: launch real companies and products that create measurable enterprise value.
We’ve built Launch Factory to be a place where founders, investors, and corporate innovators actually get things done.
Everything we do at Launch Factory depends on the strength of our network.
If you’re building, investing, or exploring new venture models, I’d welcome the conversation — feel free to reach out.
