In medical imaging, sometimes less really is more—fewer steps and better possibilities. We are collaborating with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, AUS to advance their PET/CT technology, which currently images the body in five-to-six steps that are stitched together—to a single-step, head-to-thigh image. This collaboration aims to explore the possibilities of a new, innovative long axial field-of-view PET/CT technology designed to provide exceptionally high image quality at ultra-low dose. Together, we are working to revolutionize molecular imaging.

The holidays remind us how meaningful it is when families gather—sharing meals, supporting neighbors, and strengthening the communities we call home. 🙏 We invited a few children to share what food, family, and the holidays mean through their eyes, during our recent harvest gathering at the Hunger Task Force Farm. Their reflections were thoughtful and deeply genuine—a heartfelt reminder that community starts with caring for one another. Food isn’t just fuel. It’s connection, comfort, and a reminder that everyone deserves nourishment and a place where they belong. This gathering reflects the heart of our Powering Milwaukee Forward initiative: uplifting families, expanding access to healthy food, and supporting our community throughout the year. We’re grateful for our partnership with Hunger Task Force, whose impact reaches families across Milwaukee in meaningful, lasting ways. 💜 Today, we’re especially thankful for the people and moments that bring us together: the shared meals, the acts of kindness, and the non-profit organizations working tirelessly to nourish our neighbors. Wishing you a warm, joyful, and connected Thanksgiving, filled with gratitude and a meal shared with love. 🌽 #HappyThanksgiving #GEHealthcare

The future expects more, so we’re innovating. ✨ Today, we're announcing Photonova Spectra* the first in the next generation of spectral photon counting CT systems with 8-bins of energy resolution, built on our proprietary Deep Silicon detector technology (510(k) pending with the U.S. FDA; not available for sale). Traditional CT converts X-rays into light before measuring them. Photon counting directly counts individual photons and measures their energy, enabling the potential for high resolution and impressive tissue characterization. “Clinicians need clear answers as patient volumes rise and cases grow more complex,” shares Chad Rowland, General Manager, Photon Counting CT and Premium CT, GE HealthCare. “Photonova Spectra was engineered for that reality—leveraging Deep Silicon detectors, seeking to deliver ultra-high-definition imaging with wide coverage and fast acquisition. It is designed to deliver precise visualization of subtle tissue variations, small lesions and vascular structures in one scan, with the aim of providing clinicians the confidence to diagnose and plan treatment quickly.” Our design goals? Photonova Spectra is strategically engineered to automatically capture ultra-high-definition spatial resolution and full 8-bin spectral data in every scan. Harnessing 50x more data^ with the help of NVIDIA technology, it is designed to support vast amounts of information with the goal of enabling fast answers for patients and diagnostic confidence for clinicians. When your imaging data lives in silos, patients wait longer for answers. Time to change that. 📢 We have entered into an agreement to acquire Intelerad, a leader in cloud-native enterprise imaging software. This strategic move will extend our enterprise imaging capabilities into ambulatory settings and teleradiology, helping healthcare teams access and analyze medical images seamlessly across care environments. "This planned acquisition will allow us to bring additional cloud-enabled and intelligent solutions in radiology and cardiology into our portfolio and extend our capabilities into outpatient networks, enabling us to help care teams be more efficient, improve outcomes and deliver precision care," said Roland Rott, President and CEO of Imaging at GE HealthCare. This planned acquisition aligns with our commitment to triple cloud-enabled product offerings by 2028. When imaging data flows seamlessly, care teams are better equipped to focus on what they do best: helping patients feel their best.

Nearly twenty years ago, GE HealthCare partnered with The Health Management Academy to found the Fellowship program, which has now grown to four tracks that support physician, nursing, administrator, and finance health system leaders. At The Health Management Academy Fellows Leadership Summit this year, leaders focused on building teams and preparing to navigate digital disruption, changing policy environments, and an increasingly intergenerational workforce. Keynote speaker Ethan Mollick challenged leaders to rethink how AI reshapes work, while a panel moderated by GE HealthCare CMO Andy DeLaO further explored the urgency and opportunity of this transformative moment. From policy to innovation, one message from John Schaeffler, GEHC’s Global Government Affairs leader, resonated throughout the summit: "Start and finish with integrity and never take a break in the middle." Thank you to the leaders who joined us to collaborate, innovate, and explore new opportunities for growth across healthcare. #LeadershipSummit #FutureOfHealthcare #HealthcareTransformation

A baby smaller than an adult's palm but filled with unimaginable strength. 👶 In March 2024, baby Rou Rou was born at Shenzhen Maternity & Child Healthcare Hospital at 21 weeks, weighing 450 grams. Supported by our incubator's gentle protection and round-the-clock specialized care, this little fighter grew stronger each day. After 143 days, Rou Rou went home weighing 4,000 grams—becoming the first baby born at such an early gestational age to survive in China at the time. This story celebrates resilience, neonatal technology, and the healthcare professionals who never give up on even the smallest patients. 💜 #WorldPrematurityDay2025 #PrematureBirth #HealthyBeginningsHopefulFutures
