Arianne Tumalad’s path to becoming a Guild loan officer is a powerful story of perseverance, reinvention, and the promise of home. After immigrating from the Philippines, Arianne arrived in the U.S. with a degree in business administration and years of banking experience – but like many newcomers, she had to start over. She began working in senior living, providing personal companionship to residents before transitioning into an administrative role – all while supporting her family as her husband, a naval officer, served our country. As a member of a Blue Star family, Arianne understands the unique challenges and sacrifices that come with military life. It wasn’t until they purchased their first home in Virginia Beach – with the help of a Guild loan officer – that Arianne saw a new possibility for herself. That experience lit a spark. She began studying for her certifications while still working full-time, and passed her licensing exam on the first try. Today, Arianne is a trusted loan officer serving the Asian American and military communities in Virginia Beach. Her story is one of lived experience – of knowing firsthand what it means to start fresh, build trust, and find stability through homeownership.
