👉 AI integration isn't a tech problem. It’s an organizational one. Today, at the AI Experience Summit, we broke down the messy reality inside companies, using analogies that were funny because… they were so accurate! Daniel Hulme reminded everyone that large language models sound brilliant but behave like “intoxicated graduates”, confident, unpredictable, and absolutely not ready to run critical workflows without proper testing. If you wouldn't hire a person who behaves like that, don't deploy a model that behaves like that either! Robert Lee called out one of the biggest mistakes he sees everywhere: leaders keep trying to “attach the horse to the car.” Instead of redesigning processes, they bolt AI onto legacy systems and wonder why nothing scales. He also pointed out a reality most companies don’t want to admit — shadow AI is delivering more ROI than most official programs, because that's where employees are actually experimenting and improving their work. Lauren Glass Mullins brought this to ground level with a simple test for true adoption: If people panic when the tool disappears, it’s integrated. If they don’t notice… it was never real adoption in the first place. Rob also stressed the importance of letting people learn through experimentation. AI needs a lifeguard, not a helicopter parent. Over-regulate it, and people freeze; under-regulate it, and you create risk. The goal is guided exploration, not fear-based restriction. And Daniel Hulme closed a loop most organizations miss: AI can easily overachieve on a single KPI and destroy everything else in the process. When AI is too good at optimizing one measure, it can break the entire workflow around it. This panel was amazing because it was honest, practical, and refreshingly blunt about what companies must redesign if they expect AI to deliver real results in 2025 and beyond. 🌟 Don't miss Day 3!
