On Wednesday, October 15, we welcomed North Carolina Governor Joshua Stein to our campus after participating in the groundbreaking ceremony for Guilford Technical Community College's new Aviation Center on their Cameron Campus! Governor Stein was able to tour our production line and got an up-close view of the HondaJet. Additionally, we engaged in conversation around growth in the PTI area and the American Honda Motor Company, Inc. North Carolina footprint. The Governor met with Hideto Yamasaki, President/CEO, Amod Kelkar, Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer, Rich Richardson, Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Steve Grady, Assistant Vice President, General Counsel and Clinton Blair from Honda's Government affairs office in Washington, D.C. Honda Aircraft Company has had an exciting week! We were pleased to host visitors from both the United States Congress and the North Carolina State Legislature Thursday and Friday. United States Representative Representative Virginia Foxx, members of the North Carolina House of Representatives Economic Development Caucus, and distinguished local officials from the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) Airport toured our world headquarters to see the changes underway as we prepare for production of the HondaJet Echelon. As #Greensboro continues to grow as a national aviation hub, Honda Aircraft Company proudly leads the way in local workforce development.
