We were honored to host the opening of WEST, a breathtaking #PhotoExhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute San Francisco. #WEST is a deeply personal exploration by artist #FrancescoJodice into the “rise and fall of the American Empire,” captured through a series of powerful images. Across three journeys (2014, 2017, and 2022), Jodice's lens sought out and immortalized #iconic sites of a fading Western culture—transforming them into striking expressions of #CivicPoetry. Special thanks to Sally Martin Katz, curator of photography at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF), and matteo luigi balduzzi, curator of the exhibition, for joining Francesco Jodice in a compelling and thought-provoking conversation. Presented in collaboration with: Museo Nazionale di Fotografia Studio Francesco Jodice Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco massimo carnelos Embassy of Italy in the US Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale Ministero della Cultura INNOVIT - Italian Innovation and Culture Hub

EAU DE EAU / ART AND THE WATER CRISIS Created by Italian conceptual artists Max Papeschi and Arianna Bonucci, the project "Eau de Eau" borrows the seductive language of luxury cosmetics only to subvert it, turning the object into a conceptual provocation. Its polished surface attracts the eye, yet its content force us to reflect on the water crisis and on the true value of life’s most basic resource. "Eau de Eau" premiered last May in Milan with an exclusive launch--its sleek glossy bottle following the playbook of the luxury industry. After this debut, the project is traveling to the United States, amplifying its international reach. "Eau de Eau" is a work that, with irony and striking visual power, turns a perfume bottle into a mirror of our collective contradictions. Presented by the Italian Cultural Institute San Francisco in collaboration with WAMI and EATALY (private event).
