This season, our campus was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and fall spirit during our Annual Fall Festival!🍂 From tug of war to the pie-eating contest, Little Flower youth embraced the day with enthusiasm and teamwork. We’re incredibly proud of their willingness to step outside of their comfort zones, try new things, and cheer each other on. Moments like these are a reflection of the growth and positivity that define our program.💛 A special thank you to Andrews Family Farm in Wading River for donating the beautiful fall decorations that brought our festival to life. Your generosity continues to make a meaningful impact on our community.🌻

We’re embracing the fall season at Little Flower with activities that support wellness, recreation, and learning.🍂 Youth at our Residential Treatment Center in Wading River have spent time outdoors on our newly renovated basketball court and track, relaxed with some yoga, made pizza dough at a cooking class, and participated in a water lantern festival!💛 At Little Flower we ensure that residents continue to be provided with opportunities to engage in activities designed to promote health and wellness. Take a look at how we're growing and thriving this fall! #LittleFlowerNY

A huge thank you to Dan's Hamptons Media for featuring Little Flower in this thoughtful article highlighting our rich history and ongoing commitment to supporting children, individuals, and families.💛 From our founding in 1929 to serving over 1,400 people in 2024, Little Flower has evolved alongside New York’s child welfare system. We began with shelter and education, expanded into foster care by the mid-20th century, and now we’re growing our medical and mental health services to reach even more of our community. We’re proud to continue this legacy of care and compassion. 👉Learn more by reading the full article and creating your free Dan’s Papers account here: https://lnkd.in/eV55PSJE

Last week, Little Flower hosted our 28th Annual Golf Classic, bringing together our community of donors, supporters, and staff for a day of connection, fun, and purpose.⛳️ The proceeds from this year’s event support our #BuildTheFuture Campaign, funding a brand-new, inclusive playground at our Wading River campus and expanding recreational and wellness programs for those we serve. The day was filled with energy; 18 holes of golf, friendly competitions like a Hole-in-One contest (to win a car!), and youth-led moments like a lemonade stand and handmade bracelet giveaways. We’re deeply grateful to our Little Flower community for making this event such a memorable success.💚 #LittleFlowerNY #GolfClassic
