For the first time in a decade, NYC has seen a decline in opioid overdose deaths — a hopeful sign of progress. But as Ann-Marie Foster, FACHE , President & CEO of Phoenix House NY, shared in a recent 1010WINS interview, disparities remain: overdose deaths among Black and Latino New Yorkers continue to rise, even as rates among white New Yorkers decline. At Phoenix House NY, we remain steadfast in our commitment to ensuring equitable access to treatment and recovery resources across all communities. #PhoenixHouseNY #RecoveryForAll #PublicHealthEquity #NYCRecovery #OpioidCrisis #HealingCommunities
