  • Agentic AI is transforming decision-making in financial services — not by replacing teams, but by reshaping the systems they rely on. Alex Johnson’s latest deep dive captures this shift with real clarity: • From generation to orchestration • From static rules to dynamic systems • From “smarter models” to helping people do their jobs better For those curious about the practical (and safe) ways agentic AI is beginning to reshape how financial institutions are automating decisions across the customer journey, Alex’s analysis is well worth a read. Check it out below 👇

The Roomba didn’t kill the vacuum cleaner, and agentic AI isn’t going to replace risk analysts. But it will refactor how decisions get made. Because agentic AI isn’t a smarter model; it’s a fundamental rearchitecting of how value is created using the LLMs we already have. This shift (from generation to orchestration) is already changing how we clean data, explain decisions, and coordinate everything rules-based systems can’t handle alone. Using LLMs doesn’t feel like deploying software. It feels like spinning up a swarm of cheerful, hardworking toddlers. Helpful in theory. But for anyone still trying to get the toddler to clean the house: you’ll need better guardrails, smarter workflows, and a very different system design. Read my new deep dive on how agentic AI is reshaping risk decisioning: https://lnkd.in/gtSpVuY5 (In collaboration with Taktile, but as always, 100% me.)

  • Financial institutions are tangled in fragmented AML tools, and fraudsters are slipping through the cracks. It’s time to rebuild smarter. In his latest article, Dustin J. Eaton CFE CAMS CFCI CFCS CAFP CGSS CAMS-RM CAFS (Principal of Fraud & AML at Taktile) explores how financial institutions can move from siloed point solutions to horizontal decision-making: a unified approach that connects data, logic, and teams across the customer lifecycle. By connecting rather than layering, risk and product teams can build AML systems that are smarter, faster, and more adaptive to modern threats. Read Dustin’s piece via the link in the comments 💡
