Dear Andrea Crosta, it was a pleasure to share such an incredible stage with you and listen to your powerful story about your work on the concept of Environmental Crime Convergence, which I discovered with you. Not just a job, but a meaningful responsibility. Thank you for your commitment and for sharing. 🙏🏻 TEDxLakeComo
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of participating in TEDxLakeComo, in Italy, an extraordinary event attended by more than 1,000 people. TEDx LakeComo was launched 15 years ago by the visionary Gerolamo Saibene, as the first TEDx in Italy and the sixth outside the United States, a pioneering step that helped bring the TED Conferences spirit to Europe. Since then, TEDx LakeCome has continued to grow thanks to an incredible team of professionals and volunteers dedicated to sharing ideas that can inspire change. They gave me the opportunity to talk about my work and introduce the concept of Environmental Crime Convergence, a topic still largely unknown, not only to the general public but also to many stakeholders. A heartfelt thank-you to the whole team for the wonderful hospitality on the shores of Lake Como, the warm welcome, the great audience, and for organizing one of the most inspiring events I’ve ever attended. I also had the chance to meet incredible speakers with powerful stories. I learned about climate migrants from Angelica De Vito, brave journalism from war correspondent Nello Scavo, courage and innovation from Alessia Canfarini, the future of AI from Nello Cristianini, and many others. As TED and TEDx continue to give a global stage to thinkers, researchers, activists, and innovators from all walks of life, they remain one of the most powerful platforms for sharing ideas that truly matter. #TedTalk #TEDx #LakeComo #NewIdeas #Awareness #Innovation #Conservation #Environment
