🚨 When Azure’s UI goes dark, Sigma customers keep the lights on. Azure's outage took down the Azure Portal (front door), preventing customers from accessing their control panel to manage VMs, scale resources, or adjust AVD host pools. But the APIs never went down. That’s why Sigma customers stay operational. Sigma securely communicates with the Azure API, enabling IT admins to start, stop, patch, and automate their infrastructure even when the Azure Portal is offline. 💡 It’s a reminder that true automation shouldn’t depend on someone else’s dashboard. With Sigma, you stay in control: no-code, agentless, and always connected. #itautomation #azure #automation #cloudmanagement #sigmaautomate #azureoutage

☁️ 𝐀𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 Azure Front Door is a globally distributed traffic router at the edge. Azure could probably reduce the blast radius by adopting progressive delivery: Gradually rolling out service/configuration changes worldwide. Changes would propagate to additional instances only after metrics indicate that the initial rollout is performing as expected.

During payment ecosystem modernisation for one of the Big Four banks, there was a valid concern about introducing a single payment submission API across all payment rails, both domestic and international. It was critical to ensure the design did not create a single point of failure that could impact all outward payment transactions. In addition to platform and infrastructure failure which was addressed through service redundancy across multiple availability zones, there was also a risk of failures stemming from unintended bugs introduced during change deployments. To mitigate this, progressive delivery was the winning option, enabling safer rollouts and minimizing potential service disruptions. As part of shared responsibility model, public cloud providers should embed cell-based architectures into their services and adopt progressive delivery practices for safe and incremental change propagation inner and across cells .

Too many partners are selling Azure like it’s a commodity. If your Azure services look and sound the same as everyone else’s, you’re not just blending in, you’re losing business. One of the biggest challenges I see is partners struggling to define offerings that speak to customer needs. Instead of leading with value, they lead with tech specs or generic bundles that don’t differentiate them in the market. In Part 3 of my Azure A–Z series, I share a practical approach to building Azure offerings that stand out — not by being louder, but by being clearer and more customer-aligned. It’s about designing services that solve real problems, with pricing that makes sense and messaging that sticks. If that’s a challenge you’re dealing with right now, reach out to me — let’s talk through what’s working and what’s not.📩 channel@4sight.cloud 🔗 Read the full blog here: https://bit.ly/4hxJB2k #MicrosoftPartner #CloudServices #ChannelGrowth #Differentiation #4SightInsights #Azure

🚀 Azure Update: General Availability of Azure Spot Placement Score Microsoft Azure has introduced a powerful new feature — Azure Spot Placement Score, now generally available! 🎉 This capability helps you assess the likelihood of successful deployments for your Spot Virtual Machines (VMs) before you even launch them. Since Spot VM availability can vary across regions, zones, and VM sizes, this feature provides valuable insights to help you plan better. 💡 What’s new with Spot Placement Score? Get real-time placement ratings (High, Medium, Low) that show your deployment success probability. Identify the best region and VM size combinations to optimize availability. Boost Spot VM deployment success rates using data-driven insights, reducing capacity issues or deployment failures. With this, Azure gives customers more clarity, control, and predictability in managing Spot resources efficiently — helping balance cost savings and operational reliability. #Azure #CloudComputing #AzureSpotVM #AzureUpdates #CloudOptimization #MicrosoftAzure
