Alongside that, we’ve raised a $5M pre-seed round led by General Catalyst and Cherry Ventures, with support from an incredible group of angel investors and advisors. I founded Lunos after spending nearly a decade at GoCardless, helping businesses get paid by pulling money directly from bank accounts. When I left, I realised payments are only part of the story. The real mess is everything before and after - chasing the right person, debating what’s owed, pulling in colleagues, resolving disputes, and following up endlessly. Accounts receivable is not really a payments problem at all, it’s a communication and negotiation problem. When you see what’s really happening up close, it’s like a Wild West out there. Lunos is our answer. It’s an AI co-worker that manages receivables like a colleague would - but one who never forgets, never tires, and works 24/7.
