"Digital Ray: 80% of Ray Dalio's accuracy for the masses?"

Ray Dalio's AI clone is 80% accurate. For the 99.99% of investors who can't get 10 minutes with the real @RayDalio, is 80% better than 0%? I just joined the waitlist for "Digital Ray". Not because I think AI should replace human judgment—but because this might be the innovator's dilemma playing out in real time. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗺 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: A few months ago, I created a Gemini Gem as my financial assistant. I uploaded our complete financial situation: assets, liabilities, goals, age, risk tolerance, concerns about inflation and dollar devaluation.  The responses? Helpful, but clearly "generic LLM cherry-picking available investment guidance and factoring in my personal data. Maybe good enough for quarterly reviews or exploring opportunities—not good enough to make final decisions. Now Dalio claims "Digital Ray"—trained on 40 years of his investment principles—performs 95% as well as he does on life/work topics, but only 80% on markets and economics. 𝗜𝘀 𝟴𝟬% 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵? It depends. And that's exactly the disruption pattern Clayton Christensen described. The iPod gave us "1,000 songs in your pocket", but the audio quality was worse than CDs. The big advantage was "in your pocket." The first iPhone camera couldn't touch a DSLR. My first cell phone was a car-mounted brick that dropped every third call. Usually, the most important ones. These technological "disruptions" won, not by being better, but by being accessible where there was no better alternative. "Digital Ray" isn't better than Ray Dalio. But for millions of investors with zero access to elite thinking, could 80% be transformative? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: This isn't just for billionaires with 40 years of notes. Tools like NotebookLM, Claude Projects, and Gemini Gems let anyone create "expertise clones" today. Founders could scale their strategic thinking. Advisors could offer asynchronous mentorship. Coaches and consultants could serve clients at new price points. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: When I get access, I'll ask Digital Ray the same questions I asked my Gemini Gem. Not to judge if it "works"—but to see how 80% Ray compares to 0% Ray. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻: Would you trust an AI mentor that's 80% accurate? To do what exactly? What domains feel safe versus risky? Where do you see the gotchas? Drop your thoughts below. #raydalio #artificialintelligence #investing #founders #entrepreneurship #innovation #digitaltwins
