This week, I had the privilege of being recognised among peers I deeply admire at the inaugural #CMO50 Awards. A true celebration of the power and value of modern marketing.   This is by no means a solo achievement. It’s been a huge year, and I couldn’t be prouder of the Commonwealth Bank Marketing team - who come together on a daily basis to deliver world class outcomes for our customers, the community and Australia.   One piece of advice a mentor gave me early in my career has always stayed with me: seek out a company that welcomes marketing’s voice at the table. Push on that open door with purpose and determination. Show how marketing can unlock the full potential of a business, creating meaningful impact. I’m so privileged to work at a company that welcomes marketing with open arms.   A big thank you to the extraordinary Monique M. for your endless support. And to our CBA Marketing team. Each of you played an important role in making this possible. This recognition belongs to all of us, and I’m constantly inspired by your energy, passion, dedication, creativity you bring everyday.   Congratulations and thank you also to Nadia Cameron and the Mi3Australia team for creating such a brilliant event, and a huge congratulations to my fellow award winners. It’s an honour to stand alongside such passionate and talented professionals.
