🎥 YouTube’s New “Most Played” Section – A Smart Touch of Visual UX YouTube has refined its video-watching experience with a glassy white overlay that changes dynamically with viewer engagement. When the graph rises — indicating a highly replayed moment — the white glassy effect intensifies. When the graph flattens, it fades away, keeping the focus clear. 💡 UX Insight: This design isn’t just aesthetic — it’s data-driven storytelling. It visually translates audience behavior into intuitive cues, helping viewers spot popular moments without even reading or guessing. A perfect example of functional beauty in interface design. #YouTubeUX #UIDesign #UXDesign #MicroInteractions #DataDrivenDesign #DesignThinking #UserExperience #VisualDesign #ProductDesign #UXInspiration #InteractionDesign

Everyone’s obsessed with UX and CX. But the part that actually keeps content moving? Editor Experience - that's EX. And it matters. If your editors are fighting the platform, your strategy’s already off course. Because great experiences start behind the scenes - not just on the homepage. No... not the girl who left you for a fitness instructor and won’t return any of your messages, Editor Experience! It’s something that’s so often overlooked when discussing platform user experiences, which tend to focus on customer behaviour. But without a bespoke editor experience, content development and management can feel like a chore, and nobody does their best work when it’s a drag right! A holistic, strategic, and educative approach is essential to getting this right and enabling the best possible content outcomes.

I almost disqualified one of my most engaged brands early on. A global but traditional retailer had mentioned that many of their customers were digitally averse and that some even preferred to still shop with print catalogs. I focused my outreach on more "advanced" leads: digitally native brands I assumed would be first to embrace agentic commerce. To my surprise, that same brand followed up with more urgency than all the others. It turns out that customers who avoid ecommerce sites with clunky filters and outdated UX lean into agentic because the experience feels more human. That’s when I realized what we're building extends beyond improving shopping for online shoppers; we’re helping entire cohorts of offline customers (and brands) leapfrog into an experience that once felt out of reach. In an agentic interface, where discovery happens through natural language, the barriers shrink fast. Because if you can talk (or type), you can shop. Curious if this trend holds across other verticals. If you’ve seen something similar, I’d love to swap notes. #AgenticAI #ConversationalCommerce #FutureOfRetail #EcommerceInnovation #RetailTech #DigitalTransformation #UXDesign #AIUX #ShopperExperience #RetailInnovation
