In modern automotive systems, communication reliability and real-time performance are critical. Over the last few weeks, I have been actively working with the CAN (Controller Area Network) protocol within the AUTOSAR architecture, and it has strengthened my understanding of how vehicle ECUs interact efficiently and safely. 📌 Key Takeaways CAN Protocol enables fast, reliable, and priority-based communication among multiple electronic control units (ECUs) without requiring a central host. Message arbitration ensures high-priority signals (like braking) are transmitted without delay. Error detection & fault confinement mechanisms improve system safety and robustness.
