Omnicom Media Group has completed its all-stock acquisition of The Interpublic Group (IPG) Group of Companies on November 26, following approvals from regulators in the United States and Europe. The deal was first announced in December 2024 at a valuation of $13.5 billion but closed at around $9 billion based on Omnicom's share price, creating the world's largest advertising holding company with more than $25 billion in annual revenue. The merger brings together major global networks such as Omnicom’s BBDO and OMD with IPG's McCann and Initiative, all supported by the Omni intelligence platform to advance data, creativity, and AI.
