The perfect place for ideation

The perfect place for ideation

This place is my go-to place for ginger chai on weekends. It's usually buzzing with young professionals hanging out. Folks stroll around, park their bikes, and talk "stuff" until the cups empty. There's always ideas and laughter floating around.

The surprising part is that none of the honking on the street or surrounding activity matters. The discussions here are oblivious to what's right next to them.

That's the point!

You don't need a beachside resort, no fancy views, nor a plush environment. All you need is a place where you are comfortable talking or thinking. And chai or coffee - stronger drinks work too but soon things can get out of hand.

Now, if you have a bit more time and understand Hindi, watch this interview of Shankar Mahadevan. Subtitles are also available. The way he talks of the creative process is amazing. I'll mark this start point of the video where his colleagues have composed brilliant, almost classical tracks stuck in Mumbai traffic.

That's it for today.
