Modernism Week celebrates 20 years in 2025
Modernism Week’s signature February festival takes place annually, highlighting midcentury and modern architecture, art, interior design, landscape design, and vintage culture in the Palm Springs area of Southern California. The 11-day festival features hundreds of tours, programs and events. A portion of ticket proceeds benefit Modernism Week (a non-profit organization) and other local preservation, neighborhood, and community groups.

About Modernism in Palm Springs
Modern architecture arrived in Palm Springs during the mid-20th century when Hollywood movie stars and affluent snowbirds gathered in the California desert to party. They brought with them a hunger for all things new, stylish, and modern–including their fabulous resort homes–and the talented architects they hired were eager to satisfy the demand. Today, this Modern architectural legacy lives on in thousands of lovingly preserved, classic, midcentury modern homes and buildings, designed by some of the country’s most notable modernist architects.
