You will, as in other chapters, need a basic Python and PyQt5 setup as described in Chapter 1, Getting Started with PyQt, and you will benefit from downloading the example code from our GitHub repository at https://github.com/PacktPublishing/Mastering-GUI-Programming-with-Python/tree/master/Chapter08.
In addition, you will want access to at least one other Python-equipped computer on the same local area network.
