Our partner Nuvoton Technology has just announced the launch of their NuMicro® MA35H0. This high-performance microcontroller is powered by Qt for MCUs and supports both RTOS (real-time operating system) and Linux.
The MA35H0 stands out with its dual OS capability, enabling developers to combine the flexibility of Linux with the predictability of RTOS on a single MCU. While Linux enables networking, multimedia, and multitasking, RTOS ensures a stable and predictable response time, as well as an instant boot-up experience in less than one second.
This opens new design possibilities for HMIs (human-machine interfaces) that require real-time responsiveness without compromising on user experience. It will be especially relevant for industrial automation, AIoT applications, smart buildings, and home appliances.
With support for Qt for MCUs, the MA35H0 series provides a solid foundation for creating modern, responsive graphical user interfaces on power-efficient embedded devices. Designers and developers can leverage the high efficiency rendering and streamlined tooling Qt is known for, while taking advantage of the chip’s instant boot and versatile connectivity options.
