1. Setting of IP address on your Laptop

1.3 Go to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click Properties

1.1 Right Click on icon of Local Area Connection (LAN)

1.4 Type in IP Address then click on OK ALWAYS USE THE FOLLOWING: IP Address: 129.9.0.99 Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0 (No need to filed-up the Default gateway and DNS)

2. Open the U2000 Web LCT application (pre-installed) 3. Type in your user name and password to Login

4. To Search for a NE (Network Element), click NE Search

4.1 Click on NE SEARCH first before you Add NE

4.2 Click on SEARCH Note: Domain is automatically set (no need to input

Web LCT will search and detect available NEs

4.3 Available NE will appear

4.4 Click Add NE

4.6 After pressing OK, all available NE will be added on the screen (Communication Status will be NORMAL)

5. To Login into the NE

5.1 Highlight the NE you want to login

5.2 Click on NE Login

5.3 Enter Password: password

5.4 Then press Apply and OK

6. To configure the NE, check if the Login Status then click on NE Explorer

Status will be already Logged in 6.1 Highlight the NE you want to configure

7. Web LCT will automatically detect the available board/card on the Slot Layout (with color ) 8. To install the cards, right click on the board then pressed ADD
Note: PIU, FAN and CSH card will automatically running installed. Also slot 23 and 25 for ODU will not detect until you finished add the IFU2 boards.

8.1 Click add Physical Boards

8.3 Right click the ODU board then click the add physical board

8.2 After you add all the physical boards, slot 23 and 25 for ODU board will appear.

9. Configuring NE attribute Site Name and Modifying NE

9.1 Highlight NE name

9.3 Double click box under NAME and type SITE NAME. Then click apply and query. 9.2 Highlight NE attributes

9.4 Click Modify NE ID and a dialog box will appear. 9.5 Type Site ID based on plan assigned by TNP. Then click OK NOTE: ID is a unique number.

10. Configuring 1+1 Protection

10.1 Highlight NE name

10.3 Click IF 1+1 Protection

11.4 Double Click the box of IF Channel Band and change the band according to the plan

11.5 Double Click the box of Manually Specified Module and change the module according to the plan

11.6 Double Click the box of E1 Capacity and change the capacity according to the plan

12. Configuring Transmit Frequency and Transmit Power

12. 1 Highlight 23-ODU

12.3 Double click the box of transmit frequency and type the frequency according to link budget given by TNP 12.2 Highlight ODU interface

12.5 click the power attributes

12.6 Double click the box of transmit power and type the power according to link budget given by TNP
