The Americans, at the beginning, didnt celebrate it, but in 1934, they start it to The national Cherry Blossom celebrate it. On the first years festival is a commemoration of of celebration, it wasnt that the gifts that the Japanese important, but in 1994 the gave to the Americans in 1912, festival was expanded to two as a peace signal between weeks, as they celebrate it each country. Those gifts were now. This festival is celebrated two thousand cherry trees. in the capital city of U.S.A

What is the National Cherry Blossom Festival?

What do they do on the festival? They do some activities as the Cherry Blossom 10 miles run, that begin on the grounds of the Washington Monument.

When does it start? It starts on the first week of April, and ends two weeks later
