Counterfeit Bills

The Hibbing Police Department is alerting the public about counterfeit money that has been passed in the area. A $50 bill with the serial number CF06285234A was used at a local business on December 29, 2012. Similar counterfeit bills have been passed in Duluth recently as well. The police provided a description of a female suspect seen driving a mid-1990s Cadillac Deville who may be involved. They ask that anyone who encounters any suspicious bills with the listed serial numbers immediately call the Hibbing Police Department.

Counterfeit $50 bill Passed at Area Business


The Hibbing Police Department is reporting that a $50 bill was passed at a local business on 12/29/12. The $50 had serial number CF06285234A. Similar bills have recently been passed in the Duluth area as well.

Suspect Description:
58- 510 female with shoulder length brown hair Faded purple jacket with turquoise shirt Black pants and black boots with light colored fur tops Driving a mid 90s Cadillac Deville Photos/video will be uploaded when it becomes available.

Duluth Police have seen the following bills:


$20.00 bills with serial number JK81846191A $50.00 bills with serial number AD71928773A and CF06285234A $100.00 bills with serial number KL25138750A

If anyone comes across any currency that looks suspicious or has any of these serial numbers, please call the Hibbing Police Department immediately.
