Concrete Mix Design - M 20 Grade of Concrete: 1. Requirements

The document provides a concrete mix design for M20 grade concrete. It specifies the requirements including a minimum compressive strength of 20 N/sq mm and moderate exposure conditions. It describes the materials used - cement, coarse aggregate, and fine aggregate. It outlines the process to determine the water content, cement content, sand percentage, and coarse and fine aggregate contents. The final mix proportions are 360 kg/cum of cement, 584 kg/cum of fine aggregate, and 1223.8 kg/cum of coarse aggregate with a water-cement ratio of 0.5.
